Corporate Team Building
Okay the Splash Tracks Treasure Hunt is a hunt with a difference. This full day event sees the team gather at the start for the briefing at 0930hrs where the day is explained in detail and equipment issued. The teams of 8 then set of on the first part of the day!
Each team is equipped with 8 mountain bikes and all the required safety equipment as well as maps and compasses. The route takes the teams through some stunning countryside and can be tailored to include uphill as well as downhill or we can fix the route so it is mostly downhill!
Four check points have to be reached and a task completed at each one before the group can continue. Points are awarded for each task completed. After the last task is completed it is back to the start where we do the count up and see which team is in the lead.
After a good filling lunch it is all change into wetsuits and each team gets to meet their guide for the afternoon. We then set of down the river in rafts of 8 again there are 4 tasks to be completed on the way down the 6.5 mile stretch of the river and points are awarded for each. The last section of the river involves a few rapids just to ensure that all the teams are nice and wet.
At the end of the trip we get collected by bus and taken back to the changing areas to get out of the wet gear and we can then find out the winners or if their is a corporate function that evening the prize giving can be held then.
