Splash Tracks Full Day Mountain Biking
Choice of two locations on the great full day of biking. We can meet in Aberfeldy and do the tracks around there and Dunkeld as decribed below or head to Wolftrax for a day to remember.

Griffin Hill Aberfeldy to Dunkeld Distance approx 14kmApprox biking time with breaks 2hrsGrading : Effort Easy to Moderate ; colour coded blue Pick up points ; Splash in Aberfeldy The SplashTracks bus takes customers up to the top of Griffin Hill saving 40mins of steep uphill biking. Then we bike along the easier tops through forestry roads with panoramic views passed lochans, then we descend a long moderate downhill through open land with beautiful views overlooking StrathBrann to the river Brann for tea and coffee in the woods by the spectacular rumbling Brig waterfall. There are no big uphill climbs on this trek, making this trip ideal for groups of mixed abilities, allowing the group to cover the distance enjoyably and take in the scenery. We return via SplashTracks bus to Aberfeldy. Extended loop An extended route for faster bikers if needed is accessible with an added loop of 6km.guide. Stop for lunch in Dunkeld.

Distance 12 kmApprox biking time with breaks 2hrsGrading Easy to moderate blue colour coded The Splashtracks bus locates customers high up to the top of a singletrack farm road this time we bike along high upland moors around a beautiful loch to where Queen Victoria had a retreat. Then it’s a long descent on forestry road with little ascent passing many lochs, finishing in a woodland path through forests heading back down towards Dunkeld. This track allows for plenty scenic stops to take in the nature and beauty of highland Perthshire. Coffee/tea break by one of the many Lochans. Onto the bus for the short 25 ride back to Aberfeldy .
Wolftrax Full Day Option
Wolftrax biking centre by Laggan near Aviemore. Wolftrax is a series of designed man made offroad biking trails to suit all abilities. Colour coding is used similar to ski runs, blue, red and black being the most difficult.The various trails have been designed by top mountain bikers to allow offroad bikers to have fun while learning new skills and increase their confidence on a bike. It is the biggest growing sport in Europe and Scotland has been voted the best in the world for trails and scenery. So who uses these new purpose built trails?Anyone or group who wants a fun day out on a bike in spectacular scenery with a café at the bottom of the runs.There is even an uplift for you and your hired bike up the hill. With your qualified guide you can learn so much quicker, safely and have a break whenever it suits you, coming down the tracks or in the café. We begin on the blue trails and skills loops taking in the forest and scenery. As confidence grows we try other trails with the emphasis on the biking experience and fun. We can work with individuals within the group and the group as a whole. It really is a rewarding day out with your friends or new friends. All equipment supplied along with guides and transport. We finish at a time to suit the group normally around 4pm which gets people back to the central belt by 6pm.
