Far from the traditional tourist resorts of the Mediterranean, in the picturesque North Eastern part of the country, lies the dramatic Coruh River.

Flowing in the heart of the Kackar Mountain Range, this river epitomizes the word action as we kayak and surf what is seemingly an endless wet rollercoaster ride. Gorgeous rolling hills littered with alpine flowers frame our view, as we pass villages where friendly and welcoming locals beckon us with invitations to visit.

This trip is for those of you wanting a real whitewater challenge! This is 120km of some of the best whitewater on the planet at high levels and at lower levels... a play boaters dream!

This is our "planned" itinerary, but the beauty of this river, is the road access. Even though very little traffic is on the road, it gives us the chance to run any section of the river we want to. If we have a brilliant day on one particular section of the river, then we can paddle part or all of it, the following day.

Day 1	Arrive Erzurum and after dropping off unrequired gear at the hotel we head out on an enjoyable drive through some outstanding scenery into the heart of the Kackar Mountain Range where we strike camp on the banks of the Coruh River. Included: Lunch and dinner
Day 2	After a freshly brewed coffee to awaken our senses and a filling breakfast we begin our journey. We paddle a 35km section to Ispir Gorge we we take on the likes of "The Bitch", "Alexis", "The Stud" and ending with "Dynasty" and the ultimate surf wave, which conveniently is situated just by camp. Included: All meals
Day 3	Todays paddling takes us to Tekkale with plenty of whitewater to stop and surf, a seriously fun day with "Perfect Portage" and "Petrakale" as highlights. We camp below an ancient Georgian church and enjoy a meal beneath the stars. Included: All meals
Day 4	A great whitewater day ahead of us today as we head up the Barhal Valley to paddle 32km down a brilliant crystal clear creek. And to top that we lunch at a pub along the way by climbing up a ladder from the river...but don't miss the eddy! And to end your day we take on Yusefeli Gorge... this is as good as it gets anywhere on the planet. Included: All meals
Day 5	A day spent practicing your play skills in some fantastic rapids such as "Narlik", "Yarbasi" and "The Wall". And check out the amazing "Lava East". Included: All meals
Day 6	A wholesome breakfast in preparation for Yusefeli Gorge, definitely worth another paddle. Great waves, brilliant playholes...enjoy! Our four hour drive back to Erzurum is just as stunning as our drive in, and also gets us back in time to clean up at our hotel, enjoy a little retail therapy and relax. Included: All meals
Day 7	After breakfast we make our way to the airport for the journey home or a few days R and R in Istanbul. Included: Breakfast
