Making the Best Out of your Stag Weekend

Stag weekends are the greatest and most fun experience a guy can have. There is nothing better than spending a few days away from the girlfriends, fiancés and wives, with nothing more than all the guys, and perhaps a couple kegs of beer. The only thing to worry about is ensuring that you have nothing but fun and entertainment the whole weekend.
One of the great ideas for your stag party is to go whitewater rafting. It is a guaranteed way to have the time of your life and still be home in time for dinner on a Sunday night; provided that you still have the energy to do so of course. I would have to say that the best way to select a white water rafting company would be to find the best rates, with the most activities under the sun. There should be everything else that’s fun to do, apart from the bustling, jostling, wet, wild and crazy ride down a river. If I had to recommend anything in particular, I would have to mention canyoning, river bugs, paintball, bridge swinging and kayaking. To be honest the list is endless and the more you can squeeze into the weekend, the better.
A perfect formula to start off with would be to take a slow drive to the venue. You should probably leave early on a Friday morning and be sure to let your boss know that you won’t be in for the day. The drive usually consists of drink and merriment, however, you should remember to pace yourself and have at least one designated driver and possibly one replacement just in case. The first night is usually the crazy one and it should be followed by a day of easy to mediocre events, so that it does not offend any tender stomachs and fragile heads. A recommendation here would be something like paintball or bridge swinging. The laughs are guaranteed and at least you can opt-out if you’re not up to it. By the time comes for the afternoon, you’ll be ready for action again and you can do the prep course for the river. Most places often have a little pre-run river, just to get you used to the water and how to handle the boat. Once you’ve had your chance to get a feel for it, it’s probably best to get an early night. The best way to experience white water rafting is the early morning. When the air is still crisp and your stomach is still empty. Now I’m not suggesting that you’ll lose your breakfast on the trip, but it does help to keep you on your toes for what you are about to experience. You can hit the river with biting anticipation and once you’re done you’ll be more than ready to devour anything in front of you. The best way to wind done after that, is to either wait until after lunch to do it all again, or just relax with your mates and wind down from an unforgettable weekend.
Keep all these things in mind when you decide where you want to go and what you want to do, and you’ll have the time of your life! Visit Rafting.co.uk for exciting whitewater rafting packages.
