RAIN DANCE WORKS!!! (at last)

You know how the British are………always complaining about the weather. Its either ‘Boiling’ hot or ‘Freezing’ cold…………..its never ‘Just Right’!! The weather in Scotland over the past few weeks has been as close to perfect as it is possible to get. Clear blue skies, bright sun until 11pm and warm South-Westerly breezes!……………….Only one problem. NO RAIN!!! No rain equals no water. No water equals very low river levels!

Thankfully the rain gods must have been appeased by all the Rafting and Bugging virgins that have been crashing down the River Tummel over the past three weekends. To show their appreciation they have seen fit to open the heavens again and a couple of good, solid days of rain have brought the River Tay back up to a really fun level. The Lochs have been topped up and all the plants are sighing with relief! Its is still mild, green and lush…..just wet too!!. but hey….that’s what we are all about hare at SPLASH! Come and join in the fun.

The Keltney Burn Canyon has also received a splash of water and the raging waterfalls, slides and plunge pools are all looking deep and inviting.
