River Tummel Madness!

So it is here!  Tummel Season.  The Mayhem kicked off this weekend with Splash taking 182 people down the river!  (not all at the same time!).  After being given a safety briefing by their trip leader, each of the 6 person crews were transported to the put-in point just below the Clunie Dam wall. There they stepped into the rafts for an action packed session, travelling about  4 miles downstream through the twisted bedrock rapids before plunging over the Linn Of Tummel, a two-tear waterfall.

The first ‘Flips’ of the year were notched up too!  This is when the whole raft is tossed upside down and everyone gets a ‘refreshing’ dip in the sparkling waters of Loch Faskally!  Big smiles from all involved especially our professional photographers who seem to have a slightly sadistic streak when it comes to people falling out!

It also seems that Kevin has not lost his touch when it comes to giving the Hen Groups a trip to remember! Rod has though and is now concentrating on men! So Stags…………make sure you request The Rod Father as your number one choice.
